Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OurWeek application ("the app", "we", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using OurWeek, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

OurWeek is a calendar and household management app available on iPhone and Mac. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 13 may use OurWeek under a parent or guardian's account and supervision.

2. Account & Authentication

OurWeek uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and any activity that occurs under your account. We do not store your Apple ID password.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within OurWeek, including calendar events, quests, prizes, and household information ("User Content"). By sharing content within a household, you grant other household members access to view and interact with that shared content.

When you create or join a household, certain data (calendar events, quests, prizes, leaderboards) becomes visible to all members of that household. You consent to this sharing when joining a household.

Household creators can manage membership. Any member may leave a household at any time. When you leave, your future data will no longer be shared with that household.

5. Data Storage

OurWeek stores your data using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure within your iCloud account. The availability and reliability of data storage is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and service availability.

We recommend keeping your iCloud account in good standing to ensure your OurWeek data is properly synced and backed up.

The OurWeek app, including its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by OurWeek and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.

8. Availability & Updates

We strive to keep OurWeek available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may release updates that modify features or functionality. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.

OurWeek is currently available free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance, and existing free features will remain accessible.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

OurWeek is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OurWeek and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, missed events, or interrupted service.

12. Termination

You may stop using OurWeek at any time by deleting the app and, optionally, deleting your data through the app's settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or our website. Your continued use of OurWeek after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
